Gifts from the Kitchen - Goodie Bags
Mama B
We have a big family and so we don't exchange gifts at Christmas, except for our Secret Santa and the young grandkids. I like to give baking instead. This year I put together goodie bags for each of the families coming to our family Christmas dinner ( which this year is on the 23rd, which is today..I better get busy!!)
I bought medium sized gift bags at the dollar store and the house shaped boxes there as well. I found the take-out boxes at a bulk food store.
Each bag has one dozen chocolate chip, and one dozen peanut butter cookies, a half dozen each of the gingersnaps and snickerdoodles, 10 peanut butter balls, a loaf of pumpkin bread, eight squares of chocolate marshmallow and butterscotch marshmallow squares and a box of nuts and bolts. I had fun doing this and I hope that they all feel the love that went into each one!
