Tips: Freezing Lemons
Mama Hen #2
Freezing lemons is a great way to make the most of those occasional sales. We often see them for 10 for $1. Freezing them allows them to be dropped in your water bottle or that long tall glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. Steps: 1. Wash lemons. 2. Cut into desired pieces. You can slice them or cut them into wedges. 3. Place on a cookie sheet and place in the freezer until frozen solid, and then transfer to a ziploc bag for freezer storage. Works well for limes too! |
