Recipe: Texas Hash
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 green pepper, chopped 1 16 oz can of tomatoes 1/2 cup long grain rice, uncooked 1-2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1-2 tsp chili powder Brown ground beef in a skillet, with chopped onions and green peppers, until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess grease and return to the skillet. Add in the rice, tomatoes and seasonings. Still and cook until heated through. Transfer to a prepared 2 quart baking dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 350F for 1 hours. |
