Recipe: Grilled Chicken with Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce
Here's our fool proof method for grilling chicken.
Chicken pieces (we like to use legs or thighs for grilling) Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce Wash chicken pieces, and pat dry. Place in a glass baking dish and baste with the mustard bbq sauce. Refrigerate for at least a couple of hours. Because we marinated the chicken in the sauce, we want the grilling time to be minimal, therefore we cook the chicken pieces on a baking pan, covered with foil for about 40-50 minutes. If you don't do this the outside of the chicken will cook but when you bite into it, it'll be raw. Remove from the baking pan and place on a hot BBQ grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, keeping an eye on them to make sure they don't burn. Baste with left over BBQ sauce before serving. |
