Recipe: Fredericksburg Chicken
Ingredients
3 lbs chicken pieces 1 cup peach jam or preserves 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp + 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tbsp dry mustard 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional) 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Option 1 -- Cook chicken on grill. Combine the remaining ingredients and baste the chicken with the sauce during the last 10 minutes. Option 2 -- Place chicken in a baking pan, cover with the sauce and bake for 40 minutes at 400F (or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear. |
