Recipe: Chicken Pan Pie
Ingredients
4 cups cooked chicken 2 large potatoes, cooked and diced 1 can peas, drained 1 can sliced carrots, drained 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted 1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted Topping: 3/4 - 1 cup self rising flour 3/4 cup butter, melted 3/4 buttermilk Combine all filling ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into a 9x9 prepared baking pan. Combine topping ingredients. It will be a very thick batter like consistency. Spread over top of the filling layer. Sprinkle lightly with seasoning salt. Bake at 375F for 45 minutes. |
