Recipe: Barbecued Short Ribs
3 or 4 lbs of short ribs
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup ketchup
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
1 12 tbsp Worchestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 clove garlic minced fine
Brown short ribs in oil.
Season with salt and pepper and place in a large dutch oven. Add 1/2 cup water and simmer for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours.
Combine remaining ingredients in a smal bowl. Set aside.
When the ribs are finished cooking, move them to a 9x13 baking pan. Spoon sauce over top of each rib.
Cover pan tightly with foil and bakat 350F for 20-10 minutes.
Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
