Baking: Easy Key Lime Pie
This is My Man's favorite pie.
1 baked 9 inch pie shell ( I use a graham cracker pie shell. Recipe follows. You can use a pastry pie shell if you prefer) 11 oz. can sweetened condensed milk 1/2 cup lime juice ( I use the bottled stuff, but feel free to squeeze limes for fresh) 1 container of cool whip, thawed Pour condensed milk into a bowl. Whisk in lime juice. Fold in cool whip until well mixed. Pour into baked and cooled pie shell. Chill. Graham Cracker Crust 1/3 cup margarine 1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs 1/4 cup sugar Melt margarine, either in a small pot on the stove, or in a small bowl in the microwave. Stir into graham crumbs and sugar in a bowl. Press into a 9-inch pie plate, covering bottoms and sides. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool. Step by Step Pictorial
