Recipe: Bronco Pot Roast
3 lb pot roast
3 tbsp oil
1/4 cup Worchestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
8 oz can pineapple chunks, drained
1 onion, cut into chunks
1/2 cup celery, sliced
1/2 tsp pepper
13 tsp ground ginger
Brown roast in oil, on all sides. Place in a dutch oven.
Drain remaining oil from the frying pan, and add the remaining ingredients until onion pieces are translucent.
Spoon pineapple mixture over the roast. Cover and cook at 350F for 3 hours.
Remove roast from pan, and thicken the sauce with a corn starch slurry (2 tbsp corn starch + 1/4 cup water).
Serve by spooning sauce over slices of pot roast.
